1,584 Georgians were Killed in Action (as listed on the Vietnam Memorial in the Pete Wheeler Georgia War Veterans Memorial Complex in front of the Floyd Veterans Memorial Building).


8,534 Georgians were Wounded in Action.


21 Georgians were Prisoners of War.


35 native sons of Georgia are still unaccounted for, Missing in Action.


16 remains of Georgians have been identified.
