Here’s how you know
Local, state, and federal government websites often end in .gov. State of Georgia government websites and email systems use “georgia.gov” or “ga.gov” at the end of the address. Before sharing sensitive or personal information, make sure you’re on an official state website.
Call 1-800-GEORGIA to verify that a website is an official website of the State of Georgia.
GDVS veterans field service offices are open for in-person services with appointments. Veterans should call or email their local office to schedule an appointment.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Atlanta, the Georgia Department of Veterans Service, and the Walk of Heroes/Veterans War Memorial are hosting a special medal and certificate ceremony to say “Thank You” to Korean War Veterans for their honorable military service and personal sacrifice.
Registration is required to receive a certificate.
Korean War veterans interested in receiving a certificate should fill out the form attached below and return it to the GDVS. Veterans may also contact the GDVS Central Office via email email@example.com with their DD Form 214 attached, or fax their information (name, address, phone number and guest count) and DD Form 214 to 404- 656-7006.
Submissions should be marked with “Conyers Certificates.”
