On June 15, the Georgia Department of Veterans Service’s offices in Washington and Greensboro will operate on a new service schedule.  

The department’s Washington office will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office remains located at its current address at 104 E. Liberty St., Washington, GA 30673.

The department’s Greensboro office will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office remains located at its current address at 113 N. Main St., Suite 117, Greensboro, GA 30642.

Army veteran Mark Churning is the manager of both offices. Veterans and families can contact Mr. Churning at mark.churning@vs.state.ga.us or 706-453-7455.

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, veterans and families must make an appointment before visiting a veterans field service office.

Visitors will be asked screening questions upon arrival. Please note that visitors are asked to wear a facemask during their visit. Visitors should observe social distancing guidelines while in waiting areas.

Veterans can also call 706-678-2821 to schedule an appointment in Washington or 706-453-7455 for appointments in Greensboro.
