Georgia Secretary of State

The Georgia Secretary of State engages veterans in the elections process as members of the electorate and volunteers at the polls. Current or overseas service members can also receive assistance with voting while deployed through the Military Liason.

The department also assists veterans in navigating the processes of applying for business, corporate, and other professional licensing.

Council of Accountability Court Judges

The Council of Accountability Court Judges assists in the development of veterans treatment courts. These courts are modeled on drug treatment and mental health courts, providing an alternative treatment plan for veterans charged with felony and misdemeanor offenses.
