In June 2017, Pritchett was appointed as the South Region Director, Veterans Benefits.

Pritchett joined the Georgia Department of Veterans Service in 2003 as a Veterans Service Officer in the Macon Field Service Office. In July 2007 he was transferred to the Warner Robins Field Service Office and promoted to manager. 

Prior to joining the Georgia Department of Veterans Service, Vince served in the Air Force from 1979 to 2003. Although he entered the military in the personnel career field, he retrained after his first enlistment and spent over 20 years as an air traffic controller at military installations in the US and Europe.

Vince graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He has been married to his wife Patricia for more than 38 years. They have two children and 4 grandchildren.
