National Guard Driver's License
Any member of the Georgia National Guard or Reserve who is in good standing and has completed at least one year of satisfactory service is eligible for a free National Guard Driver’s License.
You must bring a completed Certificate of Eligibility (DS-318) obtained from the local National Guard Commanding Officer when applying for this license at your local Department of Driver Services office.
A member of the National Guard with 20 years of service may obtain a free veteran’s driver’s license. A certification obtained from the Adjutant General of the State of Georgia is also required when a National Guard applies for a Veteran’s Driver’s License.
