National Guard Driver's License
Any member of the Georgia National Guard or Reserve who is in good standing and has completed at least one year of satisfactory service is eligible for a free National Guard Driver’s License.
You must bring a completed Certificate of Eligibility (DS-318) obtained from the local National Guard Commanding Officer when applying for this license at your local Department of Driver Services office.
A member or former member of the National Guard who served on active duty or who has 20 years of honorable service may obtain a veteran’s driver’s license. A Certificate of Eligibility obtained from the Adjutant General of the State of Georgia is required when a National Guard member applies for a veteran’s driver’s license.
