He commanded at both group and squadron levels, both deployed and in-garrison. Dave currently serves as a Principal Operations Lead with Chick-fil-A, Inc in Atlanta.

He and his wife, Kristyn, and daughters, Ashlyn and Avery, currently reside in Athens.
