From 2020 to present,  he has served as the Chairman of the Veterans Council of Chatham County and Commander American Legion Post 184.

He is also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, VFW 4392, 8th Air Force Historical Society (Birthplace Chapter), the 40&8 (honor society to the Legion), the Military Order of the Cootie (honor society to the VFW, Auxiliary Vietnam Veterans of America, Society of the 3rd Infantry Division, and the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day parade.
